Which of the following best describes an effect of industrialization? O A. It ruins the economy of entire regions. O B. It becomes a push factor. O C. Less pollution is created O D. The population of cities rise.

Answers

Answer:

B. It becomes a push factor.

Explanation:

In the mid-1800’s, a large number of immigrants crossed the Atlantic Ocean to begin a new life in America from Europe. More than 3 million of these immigrants arrived from Ireland and Germany. Many of them were fleeing economic or political troubles in their native countries.

During this time period, technology was developing rapidly. The Industrial Revolution had begun. Larger faster steamships brought people to America by the thousands. Railroads grew and expanded. People could travel quickly and efficiently. Factories were built to produce many new products only recently invented.

With the rise of American industry, growth of the railroad system created thousands of jobs both in factories and in the construction trade.

Hope this helps :)

Answer:

D

Explanation:

one of the most long lasting effects of industrialization is the increase in cities. Gone were the days of people living in small towns and farms. what once was small cities fledged into full sprawling cities with numerous residents.

some negative effects can be:

child laborwage slavery (workers being subjected to wages that are less than fair)slums (neighborhoods for the working class were considered less than ideal. they lived in areas that were overcrowded and riddles with pollution). terrible working conditions (common shifts were 6days a week for 10-15 hours per day. there were safety hazards as well)

industrialization brought about positive and negative consequences. Products were cheaper, cities flourished and more jobs were made available, but the negative consequences of child labor and poor working conditions were two very real issues courtesy of industrialization.

Answers

Answer:

Whig party Free Soil party

Explanation:

The Whig party was the main precursor to the Republican party. They were very influential in the U.S. before the Civil War and if not for sectional divisions, would have contributed a slew of Presidents. The Whig party wasn't a big opponent of slavery but the Northern Whigs felt strongly enough against it to switch to the Republican party in the decade before the Civil War.

There was also the Free Soil party. This party was dedicated to ensuring that slavery would not spread to the new territories that the U.S. had acquired. They found it beneficial to join the Republican party which was anti-slavery.

Hope I helped! Ask me anything if you have any questions! Hope you make an 100%. Brainiest plz!

Answer:

This is what I decided to write: Reconstruction began a few years after the Civil War ended. It was a period during which "pieces of the puzzle" needed to be reassembled. At this point, the United States was once again attempting to run as an independent country. In everyone's mind, hatred and resentment had hardened as a result of the mass killing. The south was almost completely cut off from politics and economics and was seeking to regain its footing. The population now included close to four million former slaves who had no idea how to earn a living. Due to the 13th amendment, they have been freed since 1865, and will likely become a key issue for politicians in the future. Still, something had to be done. Reconstruction began with Abraham Lincoln's blueprint. Ten percent of the state's voters had to agree to emancipated slaves and swear union loyalty for the state to rejoin the union under the "Lincoln Plan." Also, high-ranking state officials were forbidden from holding office or voting unless directed by the president.

Andrew Johnson became president after Lincoln's assassination in April 1865. It was in May that he inaugurated the Presidential Reconstruction period (1865-67). Johnson pardoned all Southern whites with the exception of Confederate leaders and wealthy planters (though most of these individuals were subsequently pardoned individually), restoring their political rights and all property, except slaves. Johnson's plan was not approved by many Radicals. It was felt that he had gone over the limit with 13,000 pardons and that he wasn't taking the issue of slave rights seriously enough. This led to Andrew Johnson being impeached in 1868. Despite not being removed from office, he was essentially powerless. A plan for reconstruction was then drafted by Congress. Congress passed the Reconstruction Act, which had two main points. On the one hand, troops had to move in and take up residence in The Confederate States of the South. Secondly, states that wanted to re-enter the union needed to amend the 14th amendment to do so. The men had to agree that since they were citizens, they would be entitled to equal protection under the law.

In the two presidential elections since 1876, Democrats Sam Tilden and Rutherford B. Hayes stood against each other. A "commission" was set up so that an outcome could be determined because the race was so close. A compromise was reached in 1877. Hayes was declared the winner in this compromise, and both parties agreed to this. However, there was another stipulation. Southern states would no longer be occupied by the military. There was no safety for the freed slaves living there without military force backing them up. It can be difficult to determine whether Reconstruction succeeded or failed. Until recently, that question has been debated.

4. What developed as a result of the increasing trade between Europe and the Middle East?
A. Trading towns and cities
B. Increases in Asian population
C. New outbreaks of the Black Death
D. Environmental damages

Answers

Answer: C. New outbreaks of the Black Death

Explanation:

The very infamous Black Death that is said to have killed around 50% of Europe's population, was spread from Asia when the ships that had gone to trade there came back with the infected rats that carried the disease and as the ships went to different cities to trade, they unknowingly spread the disease more.

This would not be the last time diseases were spread from Asia but it was most probably the most devastating case.
